The CeramicSpeed ALPHA Gravel bottom bracket has been completely redesigned and combines low friction with extremely high durability. The system now runs even more smoothly thanks to the use of ceramic balls and hardened stainless steel raceways. A 10% weight reduction and improved dust and dirt protection ensure more efficient power transfer and longer life.
Material and construction
The ALPHA bottom bracket is built around hardened stainless steel races that provide exceptional corrosion protection. In these raceways, high-quality ceramic balls rotate and minimise friction while pedalling. The internal raceways have been specifically redesigned to provide additional bearing support. CeramicSpeed selected the new 7075 aluminium alloy for the housing. As a result, this version of the CeramicSpeed BB ALPHA Gravel is 10% lighter.
